Manavgat city, waterfall and River boat tour from Side is a boat and day trip that includes a wonderful boat tour on the Manavgat river, one of the most beautiful rivers in Turkey, as well as the famous Manavgat waterfall and Manavgat market.
The river named after the town of Manavgat is only 7 km away from Side. The Manavgat River, known as Melas in history, has been one of the most important rivers in the Mediterranean region throughout history. The river is 93 km long and originates from the slopes of the Taurus Mountains and flows into the Mediterranean. Two dams were built on theManavgat river, Oymapınar Dam and Manavgat Dam.
After your hotel transfer to our private pier, the boat leaves from the pier on the shore of the Manavgat River and sails through the clear green waters of the river. During this cruise, you can observe the rich variety of plants, marine life such as sea turtles and various bird species on both sides of the river.
Our boat stops at the interesting beach called Manavgat Boğazı, close to the sea. This unique beach has the fresh water Manavgat River on one side and the salt water Mediterranean on the other side. In this interesting place, you will have the opportunity to swim in both waters. You can also sunbathe on the sandy beach and do water activities such as jet skiing if you wish. Our lunch is served on our boat with this beautiful and special view. After the break here, our boat returns to the pier by the Manavgat river where it left. The total duration of the boat tour on the river is approximately 3 hours.
Our second stop on the Manavgat city, waterfall and River boat tour from Side is the famous Manavgat waterfall. Manavgat waterfall is located 8.5 km northwest of Side and 3 km northwest of Manavgat. It has a magnificent view. Although the waterfall is not a high waterfall, it pours from a wide area with a strong flow and offers a wonderful water sound and visual feast. During the one-hour free time at the Manavgat waterfall, You can take wonderful photos and drink your tea & coffe with the relaxing sound of the water in the tea garden right next to the waterfall .
